Waktu saya mencari-cari berita tentang banjir di Balikpapan melalui Google, salah satu hasil pencarian yang diberikan oleh Google adalah situs web milik Post Metro Balikpapan, sebuah koran daerah di Balikpapan. Tapi anehnya Google memberi peringatan bahwa situs yang memiliki domain www.metrobalikpapan.co.id ini berbahaya karena bisa menyebabkan pengunjungnya mendownload program yang berisi malware.

Ternyata hal yang sama juga terjadi untuk search result yang menuju ke situs Samarinda Pos Online yang memiliki domain www.sapos.co.id.
Dugaan saya adalah ini mungkin bukan kesengajaan dari si pemiliki situs, tapi bisa jadi hasil serangan cracker yang mencoba memanfaatkan situs tersebut untuk menyebarkan malware. Dari penjelasan Google, malware yang ditemukan berasal dari domain-domain lainnya. Bisa jadi situs Post Metro Balikpapan dan Samarinda Pos Online hanya 'dititipi link' atau dimanfaatkan sebagai situs perantara saja.
Saya juga belum tahu bagaimana metode pendistribusian malware melalui situs Post Metro Balikpapan ini karena pada saat saya nekad mencoba membukanya, sepertinya tidak ada software apapun yang terdownload secara otomatis. Sepertinya sih begitu... Atau saya saja yang tidak sadar?
